Charles M. Pace, CPANC Certificate # 8794
Charlie is the majority shareholder of PACE & WOOTEN, PA. He has over 30 years experience in public accounting in North Carolina. Charlie is a graduate of Atlantic Christian College with a B.S. in accounting. He was licensed as a certified public accountant in 1975 and opened the current practice in 1978. Charlie specializes in individual and small business taxation.
Charlie is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPA’s, the Coastal Plains Chapter and the American Institute of CPA’s. He is an active member of First Baptist Church and has served on the finance committee as well as the deacon board. Charlie and his wife, Betty, have been married since 1972. They have two children, Amy and David, and three grandchildren, Parker, Davis and Emmy. Charlie enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
K. Brad Wooten, CPA

Brad is a shareholder of PACE & WOOTEN, PA. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting from N.C. State University in 2005 and his Master's Degree in Accounting from Iowa State University in 2007. After working briefly in Raleigh in the audit department of the largest accounting firm based in the southeastern United States, he decided to move back home to New Bern.
Brad is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the North Carolina Association of CPA's, the N.C. State Alumni Association, the National Eagle Scout Association, the New Bern Area Young Professionals Group, the Leadership Craven Alumni Association, and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. He is also the current Treasurer on The EPIC Center Board of Directors. Brad, his wife Tiffany and son Zac live in River Bend. His hobbies are kayaking and boating. He and Tiffany are active members at Temple Baptist Church.
